Facts About EL Paso

There is so much information about cities that a person, wouldn’t believe or even expect from that region. So today I want to enlighten your minds and list some facts about El Paso. I’m sure many El Paso natives don’t even know this information, because it’s not the norm of what people converse about from day to day. I know it can be a learning experience for everyone reading. This could even help a person if they are ever on one of those trivia shows. We all know that they ask intellectually challenging questions. I hope you enjoy these fun facts.

*Average annual rainfall is 8.81 in.

*The Franklin Mountains are the last southern ridge of the Rocky Mountains.

*El Paso’s Fort Bliss is the largets Air Defense Center in the world.

*El Paso is located in Chihuahua Desert, which is one of the largest in the world

*There are 15 museums in El Paso

*There are 5 bridges that connect El Paso to Mexico

*El Paso was originally named EL Paso Del Norte by the Spanish in the late 1500s.
